There are some VERY VERY awesome incentives this week.
Please remember these are COVER PRICE ALWAYS, but you need to add books to your cart in order to qualify. Once you do there will be a pop up that asks if you want to add the incentive. We have had no issues with this, but just reach out if you run into any. We are super excited about this as it's something we have always wanted from other shops and never seen done.
This week is wild, and I am all for it. It feels like comics are on the uptick again as we head into Summer. SO MANY good books, so this is going to be another long list. Spec wise, if that’s what you are here for “SPEC RECS” is what you want. These are the books I think will do the best. Past that, the “Honorable Mentions” are books I believe have potential or are likely to be optioned etc. Then “Books of Interest” are just books I would be a fool not to mention for anyone who loves comics.

Death of Silver Surfer #1 - Likely the biggest this week

This is likely the biggest of the week and I am going in. Silver Surfer is one of my all time favorites and I am really excited about this run. I don't see it becoming a $50 book, but I think the early covers likely hold up over time. There has been some "this will tie into the movie" talk, don't buy any of that for a second it is all click bait BS . This is Greg and Sumit teamed up together to handle a VERY awesome story. I am excited, and buying multiples!
Giant Sized X-Men #1 - NEW MUTANT!

That's right, we are getting a new mutant in this Giant Sized run. Dropping in issue 1, this is likely worth taking a stab at. I believe this is a 5 issue run, and potentially turns into more if they don't fumble the drop.
The bit we want to really pay attention to, they are setting up a run later this year and this will be the first appearance of the mutant that will be the focus of that run. The story for her is being penned by Al Ewing and Sarah Pichelli (ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION NOW?) haha. I am not going terribly light on this, likely 10-20 copies (maybe 25 as the 1:25 is incredible).
Worthy of note, some of the variants are absolutely fire AND we have a spoiler we don't have art for yet.

Spider-Girl #1 - Likely a big one!

This is likely going to be big, if it is remotely as successful/good as Spider-Boy. The cover I am after here is the Peach Momoko Marvel Rivals #1. Those covers have been insane in the past 6 months, and this looks to be a very promising one, even if just for the short term. I am grabbing 25 so I can also get the 1:25.
Ultimate Spider-Man #19 - Rumored to be a key issue for the series

Richard is a FORCE on Sandovals cover, this is rumored to be a pretty important issue with a lot going on. I am grabbing some A and other covers (mainly because the art is insane, but also this is what spec is about).
Seven Years in Darkness Year 3 #1 - DO NOT SLEEP ON THESE!

This is one I have been screaming about for a long time, and I won’t stop. DO NOT SLEEP ON THESE FIRST PRINTINGS. This series is one of the most insanely underrated comics PERIOD. And we are now officially getting into year three at the school. I heavily encourage anyone to grab at least a single copy, and you can thank me later.
Absolute Flash #3
This is one to potentially pay more attention to. Lemire has stated "absolute grodd will be a star". It looks like we might get grodd in this issue. While flash isn't my favorite of the run so far, Lemire is one of my favs as far as being able to introduce and build character hype! I am grabbing some of these for the personal spec.

Adventure Time DLX Ed #1 - Another don't miss

This is subject to allocations, but I would be foolish to say don't try. Adventure Time has had some of the most collectible covers in the past 10 years and this printing has me intrigued. I am grabbing what I can (anything customer order wise will be filled out of whatever we get BEFORE I claim any I ordered if we do get allocated)
Wolverine/Deadpool #5 - Worth note

When screenrant writes an ENTIRE article about a single cover? I'd say it's possibly worth paying attention. Not exactly a pillar or journalistic worth, but someone (or the marketing team) decided this was worth preaching about. It could be just to move covers, but damn if it isn't working I am jumping.

This one hits A LOT of check boxes for me, and I think it has some big potential if it lands. Not in the main spec because it's a bit off the beaten path, but I def recommend it. Also Jae Lee on the A cover? Can't go wrong with that ever.

Both of these covers are absolutely unreal, and this series is one a lot of people seem to be sleeping on. It is absolutely phenomenal and Ram at his finest.

Unsure if this takes off, but I am into the premise. It could be a DOA book, but the team on it is great and this is another one I am more than happy to get a few copies of. All the covers are absolutely amazing!

Death of Captain Marvel DM Edition - A super good run

This collects 50 years of Captain Marvel, and it was one of the more fun stories I recall. I am grabbing the DM edition for my shelf, one because I want to re-read this, but also because this cover is just glorious haha.
Jim Aparos DC Classics - VERY COOL!

These are those books I always try and nab. It’s a great look into the history of icons, but also the direct market editions tend to do well over time once they go out of print.

It’s up, hasn’t been taken down. Looks like we are actually getting it finally. This series is one that’s been honestly hard to stick with due to all the issues. That said, I am wildly enjoying it and know there are bigger plans for it.

Heat Seaker Exposed - BRAO
This is a mention because BRAO is family and he has 2 covers. Also this series is actually pretty fun, we did a cover for it a while back because I was super surprised that the story was actually enjoyable. These have also done a good job of finding a secondary market. I did share a non BRAO as well, because I like it (I am such a degen though haha).
